The Delaware Volunteer Firemen’s Association (DVFA) released the fire safety DVD, Your Fire Escape with Safe-T-Bear in January of 2007. The program is designed for children ages four-seven and incorporates the public fire safety education initiatives of the National Fire Protection Association’s (NFPA) Risk Watch® program. The Delaware Children’s Fire Safety Foundation created the character of Safe-T-Bear.
